Also tagged ” Africa’s Biggest Street Party” Calabar Carnival festival was created as part of the vision of making the Cross River State, Nigeria, the number one tourist destination for Nigerians and tourists all over the world.


The carnival which begins every 1 December and lasts until 31 December has boosted the cultural mosaic of Nigeria people while entertaining millions of spectators within and outside the State, and boosting industry for all stakeholders.

The 2018 edition of the carnival took off on another spectacular note while residents and revelers were treated to a breathtaking showpiece by over 5000 power bikers and 300 vintage cars drivers.

The Bikers Carnival which is in its second edition as a spice to the carnival offering drew bikers and drivers from America, Canada, Australia, Germany and other parts of the world including Africa.
