No fewer than 19 players have hit the Super Eagles’ camp in Dnipro ahead of the international friendly match with Ukraine on Tuesday including Joe Aribo, who plays for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers in the Scottish Premier League.
The Eagles are guests of the Ukrainian senior men’s national football team as both sides face each other at the Kiev Olympic Stadium on September 10 in what will be a first fixture between both countries at senior level and a number of the Nigerian players called have already hit the team’s base in the city of Dnipro.

First-time invitees Josh Maja, Maduka Okoye and Aribo have all joined the Eagles’ camp, while regular names like William Troost Ekong and Leon Balogun are also on ground.
The trio of Aribo, Maja and Okoye have dual citizenships, with the latter eligible for Germany and the duo of Maja and Aribo being eligible for England.

However, if they all feature against the Ukrainians, they will remain eligible to represent their respective countries of birth as it is not a competitive fixture.
Also in camp are Alex Iwobi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Anderson Esiti, Brian Idowu and Jamiliu Collins.

The others include Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Paul Onuachu, Dennis Bonaventure, Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon, while goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Francis Uzoho are members of the squad in Ukraine as at Saturday evening.
Ola Aina, Chidozie Awaziem, Semi Ajayi and Kelechi Iheanacho were still being expected as at Saturday evening.
