Nigerian Police mob Super Eagles star in Asaba

Super Eagles striker and Al-Nassr foward Ahmed Musa savored what could pass for an impressive police cover Tuesday in Asaba.

Musa who captained the Eagles at the FNB Stadium where the team picked ticket for Cameroon 2019 despite pulling a draw against Bafana Bafana, found himself sandwiched in the midst of close to a dozen policemen who from their posture are not just protecting him but were appreciative of of his presence in their midst. It turned out to be a selfie session as both Musa and his police friends were all interested in documenting the moment.

Musa who has continued to post an impressive run in the national team captured the moment in his tweet while at the same time commending the men in arms.

When you get the love from security men, they are doing a very great job ????” he enthused

The former CSKA Moscow and Leicester city ace was a delight to watch at the last world cup in Russia despite Nigeria’s early exit from the event.

Most of his fans have cited his composure and speed on the pitch as some of the qualities they find tantalising about the 26 year old who made 135 appearances for CSKA Moscow scoring 48 goals.

The former Under 20 and 23 ace, hit the senior national team in 2010 under the then coach of the national team Lars Lagerbäck and has since made over 79 appearances for the senior national team with over 17 goals to his credit.
