Super Eagles winger puts World Cup disappointment behind and makes fresh start in La Liga

Following the resolution of the agreement reached between Levante UD and KAA Gent, Nigerian attacker Moses Simon is committed to Levante for the next five seasons. Simon, who was previously linked with a move to Liverpool, was signed for £4.5 million. He was also linked with clubs in England and Germany.The Spanish football club announced Simon’s signing via Twitter on Monday.

Levante were locked with French Ligue 1 Saint Etienne in the chase for the KAA Gent winger, who missed the recent World Cup in Russia no thanks to a thigh injury. The attacker, who was born on July 12, 1995 is committed to the Levantist entity after having campaigned in the ranks of KAA Gent and, previously, in the FKAS TrencÍn in the Slovak League. He won the Belgian league with Gent in his first season after his transfer from Slovak club AS Trencin.
