Confused Christian Feminists! Your Husband Is Your Master, Pastor Chris is Right

Nigerian female feminists along with their male apologists have gone berserk on social media.

Once again – the right phrase – it is on; not sure any other group in the country is often triggered this much.

While i understand some genuine concerns, i also do know an awful lot of the “anti Pastor Chris hysteria” twitter are just forming woke, nothing more.

I will ignore the “woke twitter.” I have always maintained “wokeness” is unoriginal and will die a natural death.

Let’s focus on those with genuine concerns who are (ironically) Christians; believe in the bible and all other doctrines that are not any less patriarchal.

They are having a field day, thanks to the founder and president of Love World Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

“Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, Husband means Master”

“The reason God made woman was for Man, women were not in God’s original plan”

The above quotes by Pastor Chris are the reason twitter has gone wild; a lot of folks, especially the female folks have all lost their ‘home training’ over this debate.  You could tell they would smoke this pastor alive if they manage a physical contact.

But it’s only on the internet space and going by experience, give them two hours and they are on their bandwagon to another “outrage” destination.

Personally, i do not pay attention to sermons like that; they do not apply to me and i have every reason be outraged if i so wish. I do not subscribe to any part of the whole package.

Pastor Chris is obviously not making any sense, for me. But you can’t say the same if you subscribe to the scripture he’s quoting.

The scripture is very clear about some these issues. It’s either you are in or out. You cannot enjoy the juicy parts; the protection, the salvation, the righteousness, the heavens, the paradise and the false psyche you are better than rest simple because you wield the word of God, then when it’s time for the parts you don’t agree with, you’d want out.

Man sets bible on fire

No, it doesn’t work that way. It’s about time to you Christian feminists owned up wholly to your BS. Stop cherry-picking scriptures.

What pastor Chris said and Why he’s right.

1.  “Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, Husband means Master”  what does the Bible say? Let’s find out.

Genesis 18:12 “So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

Here the bible puts man as having supreme authority over wives and children, as witnessed here with Sarah calling Abraham her Lord – Lord means master.

In fact, to make it clearer, there are two Hebrew words for Husband, one biblical, the other modern and they both mean the same thing; ‘eesh’ and ‘ba•al’. We have seen both used interchangeably, meaning both are one and the same. While ‘eesh’ may mean just “man” in some contexts, ‘ba•al’ simply translates as “an owner” (Master).

I know it’s very hard to admit, especially for confused Christian feminists, it is a known fact that during the biblical era women were considered property of their master’s household – the Husband.

2.  “The reason God made woman was for Man, women were not in God’s original plan”

Is the above statement a subject of the scripture? let’s fact check:

The Biblical text says that Eve was created from Adam’s tsela‘ – which has traditionally been translated as “rib,” Adam’s rib. This would have ended the argument but let’s go further. I like playing the devil’s advocate for as long as reasonable.

Was there a plan for Eve Originally?  One cannot say for sure. But remember God did say, “Let us make man in our image according to our likeness” Genesis 1:28. While you could argue he meant “man” as in male and female versions, he however made the male version first and called the female version a helper.

My personal observation is, he wanted man to multiply and dominate the entire earth and thought, “Why don’t i just include a woman to help carryout this task” and boom Eve became part of the plan.

Technically, there’s a strong case for women being part of the Original plan, but you can’t deny there’s a stronger case; the only intent was that the woman be “useful” to the male “man”.

So when next you wan to bash your Pastor for stating the wrong opinions (a.k.a Opinions you don’t agree with), endeavour to cross check the scripture – which you subscribe to – in order to be sure if you are fighting Pastor Chris or fighting the holy book.

In this case, you are arguing with the latter, something the holy book expressly warned you against.

“Thou Shalt Not Change My Word”  is an express order from above – you can read all about it in  Deuteronomy 4:2.

If you want to be a feminist, maybe it’s time to revoke your subscription of the patriarchal holy book. Stop contradicting yourselves. You can’t have your cake and eat it. It’s either you are in or out.

Your pastor is right. Deal with it.
