BREAKING: Security Operatives Kill Three Gunmen In Anambra
Security operatives in Anambra State have killed three fierce-looking gunmen during a duel.
The incident took place on Wednesday at Umunze, Orumba South local government area.
The gunmen had different charms on their bodies, including legs, necks, waists and hands.
The Nation gathered the gunmen were part of the group killing innocent citizens around the Orumba area.
Anambra Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu could not be reached as his phone was switched off.
But one of the senior police officers in the Command confirmed the incident to The Nation.
He said a combined team of the Police and Military carried out the operation around 4:30 pm.

Zamfara PDP Chairman is dead
The Chairman of opposition Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Zamfara state Dr. Ahmed Sani Kaura, is dead.
The chairman died shortly after he attended a peace meeting organised by the Nigeria Council of Ulamah, Zamfara state chapter on Wednesday.
The Secretary of the party, Faruku Ahmed Gusau, said the chairman who was invited along with PDP stakeholders by the Council of Ulamah for a meeting on how to eschew political thuggery in the state, had developed sickness immediately after he delivered a speech at the occasion.
Gusau said he was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital where he was confirmed dead by doctors.
The Nigeria Council of Ulamah is organizing a sensitisation meeting with all the political parties in the state on how to ensure peaceful conduct of 2023 general elections.
Aged 62, the late chairman died living behind two wives and six children.

Sunday Igboho bags honorary doctorate degree in war studies from US varsity
Sunday Igboho, the famous Yoruba nation agitator, real name, Sunday Adeyemo, has bagged an honorary doctorate from the Triune Biblical University.
The university is based in Brooklyn, New York, United States of America.
Recall that Igboho was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic, in July last year, for the alleged falsification of his passport.
Before then, he was declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS) for allegedly stockpiling weapons in his home.
The secession agitator was subsequently arrested and detained in a prison in the Benin Republic but later regained his freedom in March 2022.
Taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, Igboho shared the certificate and a series of pictures from the event.
He wrote: “Congratulations to me as I was conferred Doctor of peace and security management/international relations with a specialization in war/conflict and peace studies from Triune Biblical University, USA.”
