The Saga and Nini ship just might be on its way to becoming official despite Nini’s persistent talk about being in a relationship outside the house. In a new video making the rounds, the two who are currently enjoying the luxurious Head of House lounge, were seen getting their hands busy under the sheets.

While it is unclear how far the movements got, fans feel they may have finally succumbed to the coldness of the house and sought warmth in each other’s embrace. The pair have left fans hanging these past weeks on the status of their relationship. While Saga has opened up a few times to the guys in the house about his feelings for Nini, the mixed-race damsel has continued to sing of her relationship outside the house.

Following Liquorose’s emergence as Head of House for the week, she nominated Saga as her deputy who in turn chose Nini to enjoy the luxurious HOH lounge. Away from the lovebirds, the week has seen some of the housemates step around romantic alliances.

With Boma and Angel, things just might have nosedived after Angel recently turned to the patient and loving arms of Sammie for a stolen moment of lips locking. This was hours after she told JMK that she no longer wished to entertain Boma in her bed.

Legal Action Threat: Presidency Replies Governor Ortom
https://i2.wp.com/von.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Garba-Shehu.jpg?resize=750%2C430&ssl=1

The Presidency has reacted to recent remarks by Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, where he accused the Presidency of favouritism.

In a message, senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said the Benue State Governor is fond of towing the line of ethnicity for political gains.

According to Shehu: “Governor Samuel Ortom has few political principles. We can see this from the fact that he has changed political party five times during his undistinguished career. Every time he feels the wind may be blowing in a certain direction, he follows it.

“Unfortunately, for the good citizens of Benue State, the most dangerous direction he blows in today is that of sectarianism and ethnicity. In an attempt to boost his sinking political fortunes, Ortom takes the cheapest and lowest route possible by playing on ethnic themes – and in doing so knowingly causes deaths of innocent Nigerians by inciting farmers against herders, and Christians against Muslims.

“Specifically, Ortom stirs up hatred by targeting one single ethnic group in Nigeria – using language reminiscent of the Rwandan genocide.”

The Presidential Spokesperson therefore, admonished Governor Ortom to beware of the dangers of his actions.

“As was the case in Rwanda where the then Hutu leaders of the country incited their countrymen against each other, claiming there was a “secret Tutsi agenda” over the Hutu, Ortom claims there is a “secret Fulanization agenda” over other ethnic groups in his state and in Nigeria. This is a copy of the language of Hutu Power – which falsely, and intentionally, accused the Rwandan Tutsi of plans to dominate the country.

“This wicked talk is aimed at giving cover to his so-called “policy” on the Ranches Establishment Law – which in reality is purely an act of denial of the law – intended to withhold rights and freedoms from one ethnic group alone, whilst inciting race hatred against them amongst all others,” he said.

Shehu said based on his kind of utterances, Governor Ortom should not be trusted with any public office in future.

He said: “These are not the actions of a man who should be trusted with running public services or holding public office. For the governor of a major state in Nigeria to be politically driven by ethnic hatred is a stain on our country.

“The good, and fair-minded people of Benue State deserve more than this, and we look forward to the next elections when they have an opportunity to restore its greatness.”

Governor Ortom has recently been very critical of President Muhammadu Buhari, accusing him of showing favour to his kinsmen, the Fulanis.

His latest remarks were in connection to the President’s directive that grazing reserves be reviewed in 25 States in Nigeria.

The Governor had threatened to take legal action against the President.

PRNigeria gathered that Boko Haram militants who had planned to surrender came under heavy attack by their angry ISWAP counterparts in the Gusuriya community, located in Dumbawa village.

The Boko Haram members were on their way to surrender to the Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF, at a border with the Niger Republic last weekend (Sunday, August 22, 2021) when they were attacked.

One of the intelligence sources, who is familiar with the development, disclosed that ISWAP leadership was rattled by Boko Haram fighters’ desertion and placed a death sentence on any fleeing member in the Lake Chad axis.

“The deadly attack was coordinated by one Abba-Kaka, a self-acclaimed ISWAP Governor of Tumbumma, Commanding Marte, Abadam, Kukawa and Magumeri, leading to a heavy gun battle that lasted for hours which resulted in the killing of over 25 terrorists including three Commanders while many other militants, who ran in different directions with their families were left with bullets wounds.

Another source told PRNigeria that the continued internal rift and the hostility between the two militant groups are exacerbated by the execution of JAS (Boko Haram) fighters for committing a minor offence as well as refusal to appoint them into key positions.”

“Some high ranking Commanders bearing the titles of ‘Amir’ and ‘Khaid’ (Chiefs) at under the Shekau’s Caliphate in Sambisa were reduced to ordinary militants fighters after paying allegiance to the ISWAP leadership.

“Some JAS Commanders and their loyalists were already contemplating pitching their tents against the ISWAP by joining forces with the Bakura and Krimima Led-JAS Factions that have been battling the ISWAP around the axes of Lelewa, Duwa, Wallal and Hauwa Bulumwa villages in the Niger Republic,” the source concluded.

Insecurity: Matawalle Calls For State Of Emergency In Northern Nigeria
https://www.channelstv.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Bello-Matawalle-of-Zamfara.jpg

Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has called for a state of emergency in the northern part of the country over the security challenges in the region.

He made the call on Wednesday at a meeting with the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 10, Ali Janga, at the Government House in Gusau, the state capital.

The governor who is seriously concerned about the series of attacks in many states in the region believes a declaration of a state of emergency will address the problem of insecurity in the North.

Nigeria’s northern region comprises three geopolitical zones – North East, North West, and North-Central – and 19 states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Over the years, parts of the region have been grappling with a series of criminal activities such as kidnapping, bombings, and attacks on communities as a result of insurgency and banditry.

Before now, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in the region while millions were forced to flee their ancestral homes.

Boko Haram and Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) are largely responsible for the incidents in the North East, while bandits have continued to engage in kidnapping for ransom in the North West and parts of the North Central.

Schools and security formations have been targets for the criminals, and the latest is the attack on the Nigeria Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State.

For some persons of concern, including Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, there is a strong connection between the terrorists and the bandits.

Following the meeting with the senior police officer on Wednesday, Governor Matawalle briefed the people of the state on the present security situation in Zamfara.
