The decision by Patriotic Front Lawmaker, Lloyd Kazhiya not to stand on the party ticket in this year’s General Elections has been welcomed by the party.

The PF in Matero has since told Muvi TV News that Mr. Kazhiya has been a burden since 2016 and has proved to be a disgrace to the ruling party.

PF Matero constituency Chairperson, Lee Mukupa says the party is happy with his decision not to stand on the party ticket.

Mr. Khaziya is heard in an audio recording that has since gone viral, to have said he will recontest the Parliamentary seat and make sure that the ruling PF does not retain the seat.

The audio recording follows indications from the party in Lusaka that he may not be adopted for this year’s Elections.

And PF Lusaka Province Secretary, Kennedy Kamba has disclosed that, besides the Matero lawmaker, none of the PF Members of Parliament have complained of being demeaned by aspiring MPs ahead of the August 12th General Elections.
