You Have No Power To Invite Buhari Over Insecurity – Malami Warns National Assembly
The Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has said the National Assembly lacks the power to invite President Muhammadu Buhari, to speak on security matters.
Malami made this known in a statement on Wednesday titled, ‘Buhari’s Summon: NASS Operates Outside Constitutional Bounds’.

I Have No Case To Answer – Maina Tells Court
Abdulrasheed Maina, former Chairman, Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT), on Wednesday, told the Federal High Court, Abuja, that he had no case to answer in the allegations levied against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Maina, who told Justice Okon Abang shortly after the EFCC, through its counsel, Farouk Abdullah, closed its case, said he would be filing a no-case submission.

Two siblings and one other person were on Tuesday arrested by operatives of the Ogun State police command for threatening and making an attempt to kidnap and wipe out their former employer and his family.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered two new methods drug traffickers now adopt to evade the prying eyes of law enforcement personnel and this had led to the seizure of 14.4kg of cocaine.
In a statement, Mr Jonah Achema, NDLEA spokesman said that the new methods were uncovered in two separate operations at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Special Area Command, Abuja.

Navy Declares 43 Personnel Wanted For Desertion
The Nigerian Navy has declared 43 personnel wanted for desertion.
This was disclosed in a publication containing the names and photographs of the deserters and displayed at the Navy Headquarters in Abuja, requested the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing officers to report to the nearest Naval facility or Police station.
