Thief Breaks Into Lawmaker’s Office Inside National Assembly Complex, Steals US Dollars, Office Equipment
A young man identified as Kabiru on Friday beat security checks at the National Assembly complex to gain entry into the office of a member of the House of Representatives and carted away dollars and other valuable items in the process.
The incident happened at 2:30pm when the suspect allegedly sneaked into another lawmaker’s office located on the fourth floor of the Assembly complex using a master key.

End SARS: UK govt reacts to protests in Nigeria, what to expect from Buhari
The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, has reacted to the #EndSARS protests going on all over the country.
In a tweet from her verified handle, she noted that “peaceful protests are powerful”.
Laing also said that the recently passed Police Act by President Muhammadu Buhari, should provide a good foundation for accountable community police force.

Popular Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has written an open letter to President Buhari as regards the #EndSARS protest.
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad is a Nigerian Police Force unit under the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department headed by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Anthony Ogbizi.
For days now, Nigerians have been protesting in number against continued police brutality, and activities of SARS officers.
The citizens want the police unit to be totally abolished, and not reformed.

Super Eagles stars join #EndSARS protest
Ahead of their international friendly with Algeria, Super Eagles players Leon Balogun, Shehu Abdulahi, and John Ogu have joined the protest against extortion and brutality by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Hundreds of youths across the country have taken to streets in a solidarity protest to call for the scrapping of FSARS.
Balogun tweeted, “The reasons for the #EndSARSProtests have just come to my attention via very disturbing images and tweets. It is never good when those charged with protecting the citizens are now terrorising, extorting, or even killing the same citizens. I support #EndSarsProtests #EndSars.”

Unknown gunmen kidnap two medical doctors in Kogi
Two Medical doctors working in Kogi State have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The kidnapped victims were identified as Dr. Ebiloma Yahaya Aduku of Zonal Hospital, Ankpa and Dr. Kelechi Mgbahurike of Christ the King Hospital, Anyigba.
The first was kidnapped at Ankpa on the 6th of October, while the later was kidnapped from his hospital in Anyigba on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020.
