On Monday, it was reported that Fatima, the daughter of President Buhari’s Nephew, Mamman Daura, had accused the wife of the President, Aisha of attacking her inside the Presidential Villa.
Fatima said that she was not expecting the wife of the President to attack her as she spoke on the video which showed the first lady complaining bitterly about not being granted access to her apartment.
Fatima who spoke with BBC Hausa, narrated her side of what had actually transpired in the Villa.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react.
Some were critical of Mamman Daura and his family:
If I didn't read that on The Cable, I'd have doubted it's authenticity.
Why is Mamman Daura's daughter granting an interview shading the wife of the President?
Where is the line?

Jokes apart. Fatima Mamman Daura, the daughter of Buhari’s uncle, committed a major security breach by recording Aisha Buhari’s outburst in the villa and making same public.@APCNigeria #presidency @presidentngr

Mamman Daura, her daughter Fatima and some PMB family can be living in Aso Rock, there is nothing wrong about that. BUT they should allow Aisha Buhari to run the Aso Rock affairs for she's the president's wife forGodsake. Nobody is too small on his or her property #Edakun

Still there were others who blamed President Buhari for the situation:
After all said and done.
Examine reactions on all sides— i.e Fatima Mamman Daura and first lady, Aisha Buhari.
It's safe to say that Buhari has failed in all ramifications.
He has failed as a Leader.
He has failed as a Father.
He has failed as a Husband.Buhari is a failure.

Popular journalist, Gimba Kakanda, suggested that the issue was as a result of extended family values:
Those of you whose culture doesn’t recognize extended family values may not understand this tension between Mrs. Buhari and the Mamman Daura family.
