Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has offered a solution to the rising wave of kidnappings in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
There have been fresh reports of abduction in Abuja; with reports of five different individual been kidnapped in a day.
A lecturer at Base University, two teenagers in Wuse, one Mrs. Hannah Azuibuike in Maitama and one Miss Ummi Umar Ardo in Asokoro were all reported to have been abducted on 14 September 2019.
Reacting, Senator Sani, in a tweet on Monday, posited that restoring peace and comfort to the capital city was dependent of the security of the surrounding state.
Abuja is surrounded by states such as Niger, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Kogi – states often in the news for their high crime rate.
“The peace and comfort in Abuja is dependent on the security of the states surrounding the city;you cant preserve a butter close to a flame.” He tweeted.
