Ex Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to reports that he sent out a congratulatory message to president Muhammadu Buhari following his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT, on Wednesday.
PEPT on Wednesday, ruled that the President was qualified to have stood for the February 23 presidential election, against the petition of PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar, that Buhari was unqualified having failed to provide his Secondary School certificate.
Reacting after reports of him congratulating the President surfaced online, Fayose took to his official Twitter page to debunk the rumours.
According to him, he remains a believer of the PDP and supports to party’s decision to challenge the ruling of the tribunal.
Nigerians should disregard any congratulatory message issued in my name on the outcome of the Presidential Election Judgment. My party has indicated its intention to appeal the judgment, and as a party man and believer in the PDP/ATIKU 2019 project, I can't author such statement.

Am not surprised about the outcome of the Tribunal judgment. They knew their lives are in great danger if perhaps they mistakenly rule against Buhari. Everyone knows that Buhari presented fake documents about his certificate. So,judiciary is gone forever. They have failed Nigerians. Educational system is messed up.
