Reno Omokri Blasts Sultan Of Sokoto For Keeping Silent On Demolition And Burning Of Churches In The North

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, recently took issues with the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’adu Abubakar, for accusing Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, of demolishing a mosque in the state without making proper findings.

He also said that while the mosque demolition news was false, thousands of churches have been demolished, bombed and burnt in the Northern part of the country for a fact, the Sultan has never come out to condemn these truths as he did in the case of the Rivers mosque.

In an earlier tweet, he said that the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi had gone to the site of the supposedly demolished mosque to confirm and found the rumours to be false.

He also asked the Sultan to render an apology for trying to “mislead” the public as such cases have resulted in the murder of Christians in the country on different occasions.
