In what appears to be a huge relieve on the stand off between Oyo and Osun States over the management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Oyo State, governor Seyi Makinde said he would soon meet with his Osun State counterpart.

The governor, on Wednesday said he will soon meet with the Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola to find a lasting solution to the numerous challenges facing the University.

Governor Seyi Makinde stated this while receiving members of the Institution’s Management who paid him a courtesy call. He said he is aware that LAUTECH is going through thick and thin but expressed his commitment to rescue it from the potential looming extinction.
