Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has in a recent tweet extended an olive branch to the former spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos Chapter, Joe Igbokwe while commending Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for appointing him.

Reno Omokri in his tweet, replied to Igbokwe who had called him out on a Facebook post, telling him he was enjoying his job thoroughly as he was not too big to do ‘small jobs.’

Reno said he was glad that the former APC spokesman was enjoying the job and that Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, had made the right choice in appointing him.

He further revealed that he had only tackled Igbokwe for cursing people who said President Buhari has not performed. He then clarified that it was nothing personal and that he was extending Igbokwe an olive branch.

He said, “Dear Joe Igbokwe, Glad you enjoy the job. @JideSanwoolu made a WISE choice. You are a ROUND PEG in a ROUND HOLE. My issue was because you cursed those who said General @MBuhari has NOT performed. It wasn’t personal. I extend an OLIVE BRANCH to you.”
