The immediate past Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has finally with members of the Ekiti state house of Assembly amid plan by the lawmakers to probe him.
The state house of Assembly was reported to have concluded plan to invite the ex Governor, alongside his former media aide, Lere Olayinka, over investigations the alleged looting public fund.
On Thursday, Fayose reportedly failed in his bid to ambush the Assembly. According to reports, he had stormed the Assembly complex with some members of the press, after which he was rebutted and asked to seek for official invitation from the House.
But on Friday, judging by a post on the former Governor’s twitter page, the house finally received him. Although Fayose was yet to disclosed the outcome of Friday’s meet, he however declared he had clear conscience and feared no accusation.
“I just left the Ekiti House of Assembly where I met with the Speaker and some Principal Officers . I’m a clear conscience, I fear no accusation.” he tweeted.
