The newly sworn-in Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Dangyadi, has attended his first official event since he assumed office on August 21.
The minister delivered a keynote address and declared open the 2019 INTERPOL week at ICC in the Federal Capital Territory.
The INTERPOL Week was organised by the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu in line with his commitment to driving global collaboration towards effectively addressing prevailing and emerging crimes in Nigeria and other neighbouring countries.
Tagged “A Safer World”, it is the first time Nigeria would be hosting such an event. It comes to an end on August 29.
