Senator Dino Melaye has reacted to the ruling of the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal on Friday which sacked him from his post as Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly.
Dino mocked the ruling as he said there will be a fresh election in any case in Kogi West and he will emerge Governor of the State.
He said he would head to the Appeal Court and that there is “no shaking” on his Senatorial mandate.

The Senator who is set to run for the Kogi governorship post in November believes that he “will laugh last’, as he insinuated that the ruling which is not to his favour at the tribunal as pyrrhic.
In a subsequent tweet, he said that he who laugh last, laugh best as he was going to be KOGI Governor very soon.

Melaye was dragged to the tribunal by the All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator Smart Adeyemi.
The results of the now annulled polls had Melaye scoring 85,395 votes, while Adeyemi garnered 66,902 votes.
