Nigerians Rain Accolades On Governor Seyi Makinde For Nominating a Young Nigerian As Commissioner

As it stands, Nigerians appear to be falling head over heels in love with the 52-year-old governor of Oyo State.

And the reasons are not so far fetched.

Recall that just recently, the governor had approved the payment of an unprecedented amount of N500,000 each as bursary to Oyo state indigenes who are students at the Nigerian Law School.

In an earlier story, we had reported that according to our findings, there are 120 Oyo State indigenes presently at the Nigerian Law School and it was also reported that the last time the indigenes received bursary from the state government was 7 years ago.

And now, the Oyo state Governor has sent the name of Seun Fakorede, a 27-year-old OAU graduate who might set the record as Nigeria’s youngest commissioner.
