In a tweet via his twitter handle on Sunday, Tolu Ogunlesi totally condemned the attack while also disparaging anyone who has hitherto tried to justify the attack on social media. In his words, ”Attack on Sen Ekweremadu in Germany by miscreants allegedly from IPOB totally condemnable. Equally unacceptable are the justifications for this attack currently circulating on social media. If you’ve tried justifying it, shame on you. Violence should never be acceptable.

However, one twitter user countered him saying ”Millions of Nigerians are harrased, abused and attacked on a daily basis by either herdsmen, kidnappers, armed robbers, SARS and other military agencies both government and politicians haven’t done anything reasonable about it.
Other Nigerians also learnt their voice to the issue, expressing different opinions, here are few of such:
Attack on the DSP in Germany by some ppl allegedly from Eastern Nigeria is totally commendable. Equally acceptable are the justification for this warning currently in circulation on SM. If you have part took in this, bravo! What other language would the polithiefcians understand?

When this treatment spreads, the East will be liberated. Public office holders shall become accountable (truely) to the people in their acts or inactions as the case maybe.
