Attack on a lawmaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is an attack and an embarrassment on Nigeria, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa had said while reacting to how angry Nigerians physically assaulted Nigeria’s former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, on Saturday while attending a cultural event in Germany.

But hundreds of Nigerians who have reacted on the attack submitted that it wasn’t an attack on the Igbos, but a wake-up call to other Nigerian politicians who have failed the electorates.
