Buhari’s Aide Lauretta Onochie Says El-Zakzaky Was Hoping to Escape To Iran And Live Happily Ever After

Lauretta Onochie, social media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has alleged that the leader of the Islamic Movement In Nigeria, IMN, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky was hoping to, through the excuse of receiving medical treatment in India, escape to Iran and live happily ever after.

She said this in reaction to recent reports that the Islamic cleric was lamenting the poor condition of his stay India – which he described as “worse than Nigeria.”

Mrs Onochie in a tweet on Thursday also said the Shiites leader was hoping to use Iran as base to be remotely directing chaos in Nigeria – a plan she said was thwarted by Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

“There’s a difference between going on medical leave while in detention & a leisure holiday to India. They were hoping to be met by Iranians in India who would take him to Iran where he will live happily ever after, remotely directing chaos in Nigeria He does not know Our @elrufai”

Shiek El-Zakzaky and wife – who have been in detention since 2015 -were flown to India on Monday for medical treatment after a Kaduna High court granted them bail on that condition.
