As the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, looks set to begin probe into the alleged mismanagement of the $16 power project initiated by the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo – which extended through the administrations of Umaru Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan – Nigerians have expressed their opinions.
According to sources, top officials from the three previous administrations of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, are likely going to be arrested and questioned by the country’s anti graft agency.
Top Central Bank of Nigerian officials may also be questions in order to unravel how the funds were mismanaged.
Reacting, one twitter user described it as chasing shadows by the current administration as there were more pressing needs that need the attention of governance.
Buhari has commenced another wild goose chase. 6 months already gone without the ministers having their portfolios yet busy chasing shadows.
Constructing a norm that will hurt him bad after his own tenure. ?
Shortsightedness in a leader makes him a walking timed bomb. #Nigeria

Could this be one of the motivating reasons behind the sudden clamor for a revolution by pseudo elitism? God bless Nigeria ?

I’m happy about this development. One day if Buhari steps down, another administration will probe TraderMoni, N-Power, School feeding Program, fuel subsidy scam and all other corrupt activities taking place under this evil administration. Power is transient

They haven’t completed the forensic examination of Ganduje’s video. That one is more urgent to the nation.

Over what? Late Yar’adua was ill-advised to open up on this power project. He should have continued with it and we would have been better today. Will EFCC factor in containers stolen as reported by Sen. Ngige? The over 700 retrieved by Fashola? Money in escrow at CBN?
