Ex-Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has been accused of backtracking on his criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari due to the expiration of his immunity.
Mr. Fayose, who was a staunch critic of the Buhari administration while in office as a governor, appears to be shy of making comments highly critical of the president since he left office.
Deji Adeyanju, who is a political activist, made the assertion on Wednesday, after the ex governor remained silent over the arrest of Revolution Now leader, Omoyele Sowore.
In a twitter post, comrade Deji said he predicted beforehand the Fayose would backtrack once his immunity expires.
“That was how Fayose stopped criticizing Buhari after his immunity expired. I said it over a year ago that immediately his immunity expires he will stop ranting. Inside this life” He tweeted.
