The report has it that the protesters arrived at the body’s office around noon this Friday demanding its immediate exit from Nigeria.
According to Isa Sanusi, spokesperson for Amnesty International Nigeria who spoke with Premium Times, the protesters appear to be pro-government as they expressed anger at the way the group has been critical of the Buhari led APC led administration.
The protest is coming some hours after the Federal Government expressed its displeasure on Amnesty International’s support for the RevolutionNow campaign, saying it will be closely monitoring the group’s activities henceforth.
