The Senate has on Tuesday, July 30 2019, approved all the ministerial nominees who were screen by it.
The screening began on Wednesday, July 24, after President Buhari sent a list containing 43 names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation on Tuesday, July 23.
Some of the high profile names included in the list includes, returning ministers such as Babatunde Fashola, Rotimi Amaechi, Chris Ngige and Lai Mohammed.
There were some new names as well including; Godswill Akpabio, Gbemisola Saraki, Festus Keyamo, Adeleke Mammora, Sunday Dare, George Akume and a few others.
With this new development, all the 43 ministerial nominees have now been confirmed and will serve as ministers in President Buhari’s second term cabinet.
