Shehu Sani Reveals Why The Hausas and Yorubas Are Quiet About “Killings” In The Country

Former senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, Shehu Sani has raveled why northerners and most people from the southwestern region are quiet regarding the rising wave of insecurity; killings, Kidnappings and banditry in the country.

It is no longer news that Nigeria is currently being plagued with enormous security challenges; that the president is thought to be failing to handle.

While so many people remain vocal of their displeasure about the prevailing circumstances, some have remained unconcerned.

Out of the unconcerned groups, northerners (Hausa) seem to be in the majority followed by folks in the southwest (Yoruba).

According to Shehu Sani, the North’s tolerance is due to the fact that one of their own is in Power while the Yoruba’s simply remain because they are expecting one of theirs to be next in Power.

Although nothing is made official yet, it is the understanding of most observers that former Lagos Governor and All Progressives Congress, APC national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in the frame to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
