Angry youths have stormed the residence of Pa Rebeun Fasoranti, in Akure, the Ondo State capital over the death of his daughter by suspected herdsmen.
Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, daughter of the Afenifere leader was shot and killed by suspected herdsmen along Benin – Ore road.
Although spokesperson of the Yoruba apex socio cultural group had confirmed to the media, on the account of an eye witness, that Fulani herdsmen carried out the attack, the identity of the killers still remains a subject of controversy.
While some blames herdsmen for the attack, others go with the narrative of the Ondo state police command that it was carried out by suspected kidnappers.
But reacting, angry youths from the southwest region stormed the residence of the Yoruba leader on Saturday, declaring they were ready for a war with the herdsmen.
