Nigerians are reacting to a huge development from Aso Rock.
This relates to the much expected Ministerial list, or if you like, his second term (next level) cabinet.
It’s been 40 days since the President was sworn in for a second and final term in office, yet he hasn’t constituted his cabinet.
But it appears as though the President will submit the much awaited list – which will carry names of expected ministers and other principal officials – to the National Assembly this week.
According to Journalist Seun Okin of channels TV, the president is expected to summit the names this week.
Seun shared the following message on his verified Twitter page:
“Buhari’s Cabinet: President Buhari expected to submit names of nominees to Senate this week. It’s over 40days since the President was sworn in for a 2nd term.”
Just In: Buhari’s Cabinet: President Buhari expected to submit names of nominees to Senate this week. It’s over 40days since the President was sworn in for a 2nd term.

If that happens, it will be an improvement on his first term – when it took the president at least 6 months to constitute a cabinet.
See how Nigerians are reacting below.
For crying out loud. 40 days since PMB was sworn in is long overdue. He should know this would-be ministers on his chest & since they’ll not be imported from heaven after all. We keenly watching & praying also.

Even with all this delay, Nigerians will be shocked at the nominees he will put forward. We are already used to his his delay tactics, later he will blame his failure on the opposition n fellow Nigerians.?SMH pic.twitter.com/acS0Vs3OHD

If one is being generous, the delay during the first term could be attributed to weak preparations but this second delay is nothing but sheer incompetence

Most serious leaders have their nominated cabinet within the first few days. Especially those of critical importance.

That’s sign of incompetent leader, we need serious leader who cares about the country and not just about himself.

I don’t expect much from what he will present!

I dont think so oo. You know Senate screening and confirmation of cabinet members is usually done by the “committee of the whole” (i.e. the entire senate), not standing committees… esspecially since cabinet list for screening doesn’t ever come with portfolio attached
— De-lordun (@DeLordun) July 10, 2019
Even Senate are yet to have thier standing committee and that too will impede on the smooth clearance of would be ministers

And for somebody who is sympathetic to PDP, you have gotten easy excuse to cry. Pls cry on

The appointment shall be more of Political Compensation, the President believes more in Age and Ethnicity than Problem solving Skills,so I don’t expect quality Cabinet and by extension positive differences from the Government, since Man can give what he have.

We are waiting for you sir.
