Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North Senatorial District in the National Assembly may be on his way too prison soon according to fresh reports coming in.
PM News report that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu has just given an order that the Senator should be arrested following the release of a video which showed the Senator assaulting a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja.
The video which sparked outrage from the public with many calling for his arrest is said to have forced the hands of the Police IG to give the order which will as well affect the orderly of the Senator. The task was handed to an investigative team which has been set up by the Headquarters of the Police Force in Abuja. At the moment, investigations are said to be ongoing at the FCT Police command.
The video which had spread like wildfire on social media was recorded by the CCTV camera which the shop had installed in it. The Police authorities were said to have been embarrassed by the act.

The Police have said that they are doing all in their power to restore the dignity of the force due to how the police orderly who was attached to the Senator had conducted himself during the incident.
Meanwhile, the Senator has confirmed that he was indeed the one in the video while claiming that the video was doctored as it did not reflect the exact happenings of the day.

Protesters have as well converged at the Headquarters of the Police Force in the FCT to submit a petition to the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu, asking him to arrest the Senator.
