The health status of the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Petr Obi has been on the front burner of discussion across the country as the former Anambra State Governor was said to have been admitted in hospital yesterday.
Since then, there have been a number of reports from different quarters with some even claiming that Peter Obi had suffered a heart attack.
Peter Obi had a heart attack yesterday, everyone's been praying for his quick recovery, not one hausa person or a South Westerner or Northerner had wished he died, now reverse the situation and imagine if these had happened to Buhari or Osinbajo the curses would be unbelievable

A Senator on the same platform as Peter Obi, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has however come out to discard the rumours of a heart attack as he affirmed the words of the spokesman of the Vice-Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in February election, Peter Obi, that he never at any point suffered from a heart attack.
The spokesman to Obi, Valentine Obienyem, had in a statement on Tuesday disclosed that Obi only felt feverish and decided to visit a hospital at Onitsha where he received treatment but that he had returned home on the same day.
“May I therefore use this medium to inform the public that Obi did not suffer any heart attack or any debilitating illness. He felt a bit feverish, which is one of the pangs of humanity, visited a hospital in Anambra State and that is all. Mr. Peter Obi is hale and hearty,” he said.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Mr Murray-Bruce said he spoke with Obi who assured him that he only had malaria.
“I spoke to @PeterObi. Yes, he had malaria, but he is now fine. Nothing like a heart attack. He is full of enough life to give those who wish him dead a panic attack. Peter, we celebrate you and your contribution to Nigeria. May you remain with us for a very, long time,” he wrote.

Obi was however present on Wednesday at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal which held in Abuja for its inaugural sitting which is most likely to put a quell to all the rumours of him suffering a heart attack just a day before.
He reported got to the venue at about 9:24 am.
