Unbelievable! This Is What Benue Youths Did During The Election

Young people in the early long periods of Saturday overwhelmed security staff and disturbed the advantageous race in Chito the central station Azendeshi board ward, in Ukum neighborhood government territory of Benue state.

The rampaging young people were asserted to have assaulted the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, authorities,

PDP operators and spectators after which they grabbed all the constituent materials implied for decision, consumed them consequently disturbing the whole procedure in the region.

Part speaking to Ukum state body electorate in the Benue State House of Assembly, Mr. Paul Biam close by, the Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Kachina Merga, Adviser to the State Governor on Revenue and Taxation, Mr Jerome Zaye who were operators of the PDP in the territory were altogether assaulted by the perturbed asserted APC adolescents.

Whenever reached, the INEC Public Relations Officer, PRO, for Benue state, Mr. Andyer Terkaa affirmed the advancement.

Benue state has three universities: Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State University, Makurdi, University of Mkar. It has two polytechnics: Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo and Fidei polytechnic, Gboko as well as the Akperan Orshi college of Agriculture Yandev.

There are about four colleges of education which are Federal College of Education Agasha, College of Education Oju, College of Education Kastina Ala.

Benue State as it exists today is a surviving legacy of an administrative entity which was carved out of the protectorate of northern Nigeria at the beginning of the twentieth century. The territory was initially known as Munshi Province until 1918 when the name of its dominant geographical feature, the ‘Benue River’ was adopted.
