The addicted supporter of the buhari’s administration from the Soth East Zone called  Buhari  Support Organisation (BSO), having formed a group called Zikist-Buharist-Movement (ZBM),

 during the 2019 presidential election to support the president to victory in the February 24 election. They claim that the buhari’s administration was the best suited government for Nigeria.

Surprisingly, The Zikist- Buhari- Movement has its foundation with Chief Dr. Nnamdi Azikwe, the foremost ceremonial president of Nigeria.

Here’s a brief narrative of the Zikist Movement and how it started; 

Zikist movement was a radical political group founded in February 1946 by young enthusiastic Nigerian nationalists. Among its founding members were Nduka Eze,

Kola Balogun, Abiodun Aloba, G. Onyeagbula, M.C.K. Ajuluchukwu, M Aina, G. Ebo, J. Inoma, and S. Aderibigbe. In its founding, the group pledged a positive action to

defend Nnamdi Azikiwe against attacks by opponents and to take on the repressive nature of colonial rule by seeking its end.

WHICH DID YOU SUPPORT;

The movement leanings were socialist and anti-colonial in outlook and in its first years acted as a youth wing of the N.C.N.C.

The movement came to be more prominent in the nationalist movement in 1948 at a time the self determination movement had scored victories in

India with the granting of the country’s independence in 1947. Also, a riot in Ghana had resulted in some political concessions being given to the nationalists in the country.

Preparatory measures began in 1948 for recruiting youths and other interested members in an active anti-colonial group.

To find a group with a South East source, fully supporting a northerner is something surprising to many Nigerians with the believe that a man must first show maximum

support for his own home land first, but for a nationalist, it’s the Nigeria of how dream coming to reality.

Beyond their support for president Muhammadu Buhari, against the populace complain that the election was rigged according to the opposition party PDP and their presidential candidate,

Atiku Abubakar, who held several meeting with different stake holders and even the peace committee, showing the video evidence of the rigged election,

and also determined to take the matter to court, fighting his case against the injustice that was incurred on him.

Against all this allegation, the Buhari-Zikist-Movement has recently spoke against the purported allegation that president muhammadu buhari

was involved in election fraudulence activities during the general election, an allegation laid by the vice presidential candidate of

The Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi and also they faulted that the President Buhari got more than enough votes in Kano, Katsina and Bauchi

which was far greater than the previous year which since he has been campaigning for presidency in year 2007, 2011 and 2015.

“It is a tradition of integrity quotient and prudence management of public finance. “Atiku is deficit on this tradition and the votes reflected it.
