One Day To Guber Election See What High Court Just Did That Sends Nyesom Wike’s Camp Into Wild Jubilation In Rivers State

There is currently wild jubilation in the camp of Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike whose certificate scandal has just been brought to an end by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has emerged victorious in a certificate forgery case filed against him in a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The suit alleged that Mr Wike forged his birth certificate, an offence which could lead to his disqualification in the upcoming Gubernatorial elections in the state.

Presiding Judge, Justice Inyang Ekwo ruled that the suit had become statute barred and not competent in law having been filed outside of the mandatory 14 days stipulated by section 285 subsection 9 of the 1999 constitution.
PoliticsNGR was reliably informed that the plaintiff, one Elvis Chinda had approached the court to determine whether wike’s birth certificate attached to his(wike) Form CF 001 submitted to INEC was forged.

This development is coming a day after Mr Wike’s top opponent and political rival, Rotimi Amaechi declared support for the candidate of the AAC, Awara Biokpomabo in the governorship elections holding on Saturday.
