Atiku’s Plan: What You Need To Know

Atiku Abubakar’s campaign has always been clear about presenting his vision directly to the electorate. If you caught a glimpse of The Candidate interviews on NTA you could see Atiku’s passion and clarity when it came to his ideas and thoughts about moving Nigeria forward. This was sharply contrasted by President Buhari’s  unclear approach to answering his own questions.

When it comes to job creation the PDP presidential candidate said, through investments, his government will create a minimum of 2.5 million jobs annually and lift at least 50 million people from poverty in the first 2 years.

This push in job creation will eradicate poverty and improve the economy, and Atiku explains his administration will “provide skill acquisition opportunities and enterprise development for job and wealth creation, rather than direct cash distribution with an estimated 1,000,000 youth benefiting annually from our apprenticeship scheme in the informal sector”.

The plan further goes on to detail how our system will become a technology driven system with police databases and registration processes drawing from the benefits of technology to tighten security which will aide the faster targeting and eradication of Boko Haram.

The former Vice President has a lot of experience and a lot of issues he highlights from his plan with clear solutions. Ultimately he is a business man and his goal is to get Nigeria working again. A candidate with a clear plan is a step in the right direction, make the right choice at the polls on February 16th.
