APC’s TraderMoni Is The True Face Of Corruption And Voter Buying, SDP Cries Out, You Won’t Believe What It Promises To Do To The Party Within Two Months!

The TraderMoni scheme of the APC led Federal Government is the true face of corruption and voter buying, so says the SDP and its gubernatorial candidate in Oyo state.

The Social Democratic Party in Oyo State has condemned the TraderMoni scheme of the ruling All Progressives Congress, describing it as a ploy to hoodwink voters into another four years of suffering.

The SDP governorship candidate in the state, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN), at the commencement of his campaign in Igangan, said N10, 000 was not enough to alleviate the suffering of average traders in the country.

Ayorinde said the  SDP would set up cooperative structures that would solve traders’ problems.

He also promised to revamp the education sector by raising its budget to 20 per cent.

“We will have three commissioners for education. One for primary school education, another for secondary school education and the third for tertiary education,” he promised.

He, however, admonished the people of the state to solidarise with the SDP and stand against vote selling and buying.

Also, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Mr Seyi Makinde, has appealed to the people of Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area not to yield to the pressure of selling their votes to a government that has failed to improve their conditions of living in the last four years.

He asked the electorate in the area to vote all PDP candidates including the presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; himself as the next governor of the state; the senatorial candidate, Chief Bisi Ilaka; Matthew Abioye for House of Representatives, among others.

He said he had started consultation with stakeholders on how to revamp the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

He assured that machinery would be put in place to make the dreams of the institution’s founding fathers a reality.

“It is evident that the current government has been playing politics with development.

“Cast your votes for the PDP starting from the February 16 election. Don’t give in to vote buying and put yourselves into another four years of bondage.

“If you collect the money to prepare soup as they say, such can’t last you more than 48 hours. Vote for the PDP because from our findings, people gladly want PDP back. Kindly endure for just two months as we’ll send the  APC packing in Oyo State,” he said at another rally.
