A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State and Former member of the Federal House of Representatives, Iheanacho Obioma, has told the people of Abia to reject Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in the state.
The APC chieftain made this known, at a press conference in Umuahia, the state capital, assuring that the APC governorship candidate in the state, Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah, would fix the myriads of problem impeding the Socio- economic development of the state.
He said the people of the state were gradually dying over hunger and poverty due to the alleged failure of the PDP-led administration to provide basic needs of Abians. Obioma assured that his party, the APC would not disappoint Abians if voted into office come March, 2019.
According to him, “If we don’t make a change now, I don’t know when. Abia is the poorest state in the federation. The governor has failed and has not done justice with that mandate.
“People will kill themselves if ikpeazu is reelected. Abians cannot continue with PDP misrule. The governor has disappointed the masses, including the people from his own Obingwa local government area”.
