Call it money politics or patronage politics, but what former Governor of Abia State seems to hold as his view is that some projects are on course or almost completed just after he joined the All Progressives Congress. This is according to a series of tweets he tweeted via his official handle.
A former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Uzor Orji Kalu, has revealed what he discussed with President Muhammadu Buhari before he (Kalu) joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to Kalu, now a chieftain of the APC President Buhari had promised to start and complete some projects in the South East.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, the former Governor expressed gladness that Buhari has gone far in fulfilling the promises.
He wrote, “I met President @MBuhari a week before I joined the APC @OfficialAPCNg precisely on 8th of November, we catalogued the new Niger Bridge, Port Harcourt/Enugu/Umuahia Express Road; Enugu/Awka/ Onitsha Express road; Nitemile to Makurdi road.
“Okigwe/Arondizogu to road; Ohafia/Arochukwu and today they are under construction while some are nearing completion.
“I am glad that @MBuhari has resolutely pursued the completion of these and other projects across the nation.”
