The National Chairman of the ruling party the All Progressive Congress Adams Oshiomole who is also a formere zgovernor of Edo State, has said that former president Olusegun Obasanjo and current PDP flag bearer in the forthcoming presidential elections, Atiku Abubakar will be defeated divinely in the 2019 General Elections.

President Olusegun Obasanjo was President for two terms winning the Presidential Elections in 1999 and then going on to defeat the currect President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2003 election. Atiku Abubakar who is the current flag bearer of the opposition PDP was his Vice President for both terms. They had a fallout after that but were recently reconciled as they buried their grieviances.

Speaking on Tuesday when he received women leaders of the APC from all the Local governments areas in his home state, Edo, he pointed out that Atiku and Obasanjo will be ‘divinely punished’ at the 2019 polls.

PoliticsNGR gathered that Oshiomhole also attacked the chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus for calling for the resignation of the inspector general of Police, Idris Ibrahim Kpotum and the Chairman of the Independent Electoral National Commission, INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.

He pointed out that Atiku and Obasanjo will be ‘divinely Punished’ at the 2019 polls.

“Secondus is bent on becoming the INEC Chairman with the sole aim of subverting the electoral process” He said.

He also described as prodigal sons, some aggrieved governors of the party who have been threatening to work against its governorship candidates in their states.
