On Wednesday, the Lagos State Government informed residents of the state that a law which will permit the reintroduction of the monthly sanitation is on its way.

The resolve of the government was made known by Mr Tunji Bello, the Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, during a stakeholders’ meeting with Association of Commodity Market Women and Men, led by Mrs Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria.

According to THE PUNCH, Bello said the invalidation of the exercise by a court some time ago was a temporary setback which will be very soon be reversed.
