Interim Government: Bring In Baba-Ahmed For Questioning – APC To DSS
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asked the Department of State Service (DSS) to invite the Vice Presidential Candidate of Labour Party (LP), Dr. Datti Baba Ahmed, to clarify his statement on the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola not swearing in the President-elect, Bola Tinubu on May 29.
Naija News recalls that on the 22nd of March, the LP’s VP had on National television said that swearing in the President-Elect, would be tantamount to inviting the military to take over the affairs of Nigeria. Reacting, the Chairman of APC in Cross River state told journalists on Thursday that Baba Ahmed should not be arrested but called in for questioning.
He said, “I was watching Channels Television yesterday, and I saw that Release. Again of the 22nd of March, on Channels, I watched Datti Ahmed the Vice Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, where he categorically said that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, should not swear in our President-elect.
“That there will be no swearing-in statement was too strong, and appears to have some coloration, that is what we call circumstantial evidence in law. It might not be firm, it might not be correct, but that nexus that connects that, he should please come and clarify, whether he intends to get a Court injunction or what he truly meant.
“We already have a President-elect, whose Certificate of Return has been issued to already, by Section 75 of the electoral Act 2022, there is nobody except the Tribunal that can upturn that. “It will be very sad, that all stress and struggle for over 24 years one man who was fortunately one time Senator and was thrown out through a judicial process, would want to use illegal means to truncate our Democracy.”

A US-based Nigerian cleric, Apostle Chika Onuzo, has decreed that “the Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency will not stand”. POLITICS NIGERIA reports that speaking during a recent church service, the preacher prayed for “a mighty wave of opposition” to emerge.
He claimed that Tinubu, the president-elect, is not God’s chosen.
“The Tinubu presidency in Nigeria, we decree from this altar that that result will not stand,” Onuzo said.
“We decree that You will raise up a mighty wave of opposition, a mighty wave of resistance, until that election is cancelled.
“I decree a revolt in the name of Jesus. And the clear winner You have chosen will appear – in Jesus name. I decree in a few years Nigeria will be a place for even Americans for vacation.”
