Kogi lawmaker, Jimoh Ommiata, dies at Lagos hospital
The member representing Yagba in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Jimoh Omiata, is dead.
He was said to have died in the early hours of Monday at a Lagos hospital where he had been recuperating from an undisclosed ailment.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker, Femi Olugbemi, wrote on his verified Facebook page, “Very sad, we lost a vibrant, articulate and outstanding lawmaker, Hon. Musa Jimoh Omiata, I sympathise with his immediate family, traditional rulers and people of Yagba East State Constituency, may Allah grant his soul perfect rest.”
Omiata, who hailed from Igbagun community in Yagba Local Government of the state, was a two term members of the state House of Assembly; and the first person to ever win election twice to the House from the council area.

Breaking News: Senate Results, Returning Officer Missing In Kebbi
As collation of election results nationwide commenced on Sunday 26 Feb, it was reported that Birnin Kebbi LG with 15 polling units that serves part of kebbi Senatorial District has its election results missing.
According to reports from the collation center, the Birnin Kebbi LG returning officer and the election results of Marafa were missing.

However a reliable source said since around 2 pm, the collation team was waiting for the returning officer and the results.
It was yet to be presented and it is the only Local Government result delaying the conclusion of collation process and declaration of the winner of Kebbi Central senatorial seat.
The results in question, is between Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero and so far seven Local Government Area results have been Collated out of the Eight.
The Political Parties are worried over the where about of the returning officer and the results.
INEC officials could not account for his where about.
Stakeholders are worried about what will happen after over 12 hours of waiting for the returning officer or the election results and as at the time of this report, the official in question has not been seen.
