Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Offices Burnt Down|| Security Operative Shot Dead During APC Rally

Protesters raze APC office, Tinubu/Shettima Osun centre
Two secretariats belonging to the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Governor Ademola Adeleke’s hometown, Ede, were attacked yesterday.
Hoodlums, allegedly protesting against last Friday’s verdict of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which upturned Adeleke’s victory, descended on the APC secretariat in Ede South and Ede North.
But the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) distanced its supporters from the arson.

The Nation gathered that the APC secretariat in Ede-South was razed and the one in Ede North was destroyed by the hoodlums, who inflicted injuries on APC members.
In a statement by a party leader, Dr. Mufutao Oyewale, the APC alleged that the PDP had recruited a militia group to create unrest in the community by paralyzing economic activities to protest against the verdict of the tribunal.
Elsewhere in Ilesa, the Tinubu/Shettima’s campaign office in Ileha was attacked by gunmen, who destroyed the property within the premises.

Reacting to the allegations, PDP Acting Chairman, Dr. Adekunle Akindele, denied the allegations, saying: “Osun PDP members only engaged in peaceful protests all over the state.
“Our members did not attack anybody. Osun APC is raising fasle alarm simply because it was in trouble over its attempt to steal a popular mandate through the back door.”
