Gunmen kill PDP leader and three others in Anambra
Four persons, including the People Democratic Party (PDP) leader, has been reportedly killed by gunmen in Anambra State.
A source who does not want to be mentioned in the print told Tribune Online that the incident occurred at Obi Maduka’s compound within Nodu town square, Nodu Okpuno, in Awka South Local Government Area of the State.
According to the source, the four victims were identified as Onyiebo Okoye – aka Onwa, Kenechukwu Okeke – PDP chairman in the area), Jude Ebenezer and Obinna Maduka.The source said the gunmen arrived at the compound with a white-tinted Toyota Corolla and shot four (4) people who were seated inside the compound.
He said the victims have been conveyed to Amaku mortuary by their families after reporting to the Police who came to inspect the incident scene as the gunmen were said to have taken off immediately after killing the four victims.

2023: Top APC campaign member resigns, gives reason [DOC]
Zanna Bukar, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council has resigned from the party and the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that in a recent letter addressed to James Faleke, Secretary, Presidential Campaign Council of the APC, the Borno-born politician said one of the reasons for his exit from the APC is because of “the inability of the party to present a credible candidate for Nigerians”.
“My resignation applies to all other APC Presidential Support Groups, and all other APC Support Groups that is campaigning for His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Kashim Shettima ticket.
“I have been a loyal party member from 2015 to date, with numerous contributions to the party, especially in the 2019 presidential campaigns.
