Tinubu Presidency: PDP Warns Buhari|| Hoodlums Burn Down Deputy Speaker’s House

Don’t waste your time on Tinubu, PDP campaign urges Buhari
The Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization has admonished President Muhammadu Buhari not to waste precious time campaigning for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because Nigerians have since rejected him.

A spokesperson for the Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign, Kola Ologbondiyan said this in Abuja, on Thursday.
According to him, Nigerians have registered their rejection of Tinubu as they have shown that they will never trust or elect a tinted individual accused of treasury-looting and many other reprehensible acts.

He said, “Is it not preposterous and a huge spat on the faces of Nigerians that an individual, who is beleaguered by allegations of corruption, perjury, identity theft, inconsistencies in name and ancestry, as well as alleged narcotics offence for which he forfeited a whopping sum of $460,000 to the United States of America, could present himself for election into the office of the President of the Federal of Nigeria?
The PDP campaign enjoined President Buhari not to waste his time campaigning for Asiwaju Tinubu, whom it said has lost grip of the Presidential contest and is only seen in the public as a butt of jokes for his endless gaffes, display of vacuity and incapacity to lead.

Emefiele: UK parliamentarian tackles DSS
Daniel, Lord Hannan, Baron of Kingsclere and member of the Board of Trade and Conservative peer has expressed serious concerns over attempt by the Department of State Services (DSS) to frame the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele for terrorism.

The Baron of Kingsclere in a statement on Wednesday, while lamenting that Nigeria’s democracy and institutions are under attack, called for obedience to rule of law and independence of public officials.
The statement reads “At a time when democracy is in retreat globally, we all have a stake in Nigeria’s success.

The country is Africa’s greatest economy, Africa’s greatest population and Africa’s greatest hope. That is why I have raised the issue of the attempt to detain the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, in Parliament. And that is why I hope that democrats on all sides will join Nigeria in supporting the independence of its institutions in the run-up to the 2023 election – including, of course, the central bank.”
