Why President Buhari Is Not Travelling With APC To Campaign For Tinubu – PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation says the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu is not fit to be the next leader of Nigeria.
The PDP through its campaign organization spokesperson, Charles Aniagwu who made the allegation, submitted that this is the reason President Muhammadu Buhari has not been appearing at campaigns by the party so far.
He argued that the APC would have gotten more credibility with Professor Yemi Osinbajo as its 2023 presidential candidate.
He said; “And that’s why we can hardly hear from our brother Festus Keyamo again because the kind of things he defends is already becoming an embarrassment to the legal profession.”
“I am happy that President Muhammadu Buhari is not following them about in this campaign because he saw what the APC Governors didn’t see what he saw prior to the party primaries when they stopped Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a man that has demonstrated great intellectualism from clinching the party’s ticket.

Executive Order: APC Drags Governor Wike To Court
The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dragged Governor Nyesom Wike to court over his recent executive orders in the state affecting political activities ahead of 2023.
The APC noted that it was challenging Executive Orders 21 and 22 signed into law by Governor Wike.
Naija News recalls Executive Order 21 prohibits political parties from using public schools for campaigns without permission from the State’s Ministry of Education and payment of a non-refundable sum of N5 million while Executive Order 22 banned political parties from the use of buildings in residential areas as campaign offices.
However, while speaking in Port Harcourt on Friday, the spokesman of the APC Campaign Council in the State, Sogbeye Eli, said they won’t apply for the use of public facilities. He added that it is an irregularity and the matter has been taken to court. Eli said: “Our party is not going to apply to anybody for use of public facilities for campaigns. That will amount to recognising irregularity. We have already approached the Court to challenge Executive Order 21 and 22. So, let the Court decide on that.”

Attack On Maeba’s Residence Stage-managed – CP
Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Okon Effiong, has said the attack on the residence of the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council in the state, Senator Lee Maeba, by suspected thugs, may have been stage-managed.
This is as unknown gunmen on Wednesday night shot and wounded Comrade Rhino Owhokire, a supporter of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in Ikwerre local government area of the state.
Effiong, who spoke while addressing journalists in Port Harcourt, the state capital, said he found it questionable that only old and rickety cars were destroyed while the luxurious cars were left untouched.
He said he found suspicious Maeba’s claim that the thugs jumped through the gates into his residence, pointing out that when the former senator’s gates were analyzed no damages were found.
The police commissioner stated that the former senator was yet to write his statement even when investigation into the incident had commenced following the visit of a deputy commissioner of police to the scene.
