Bandits have abducted the wife and four children of a member, Zamfara State House of Assembly, Aminu Ardo Jangebe.

Also abducted were his two neighbours, Alhaji Yahaya and Sa,adu Mainama.

Speaking to The PUNCH on the phone, an indigene of the town, Sani Abubakar said the bandits arrived the town around 11 o’clock pm on Thursday and began to shoot sporadically to scare away people.

Abubakar explained that many people took to their heels on hearing the gunshots, while others shut their doors to avoid abduction.

He said the bandits went straight to the residence of Aminu Ardo where they broke the gate to gain entry.

“Immediately the bandits entered into the house, they abducted the wife of the Honourable member and his four children.

APC Crisis: Party chieftain stripped naked, molested in Nasarawa
Chairman of the Nasarawa state Inter-party Advisory Council, Hon. Cletus Ogah Doma Friday condemned in totality the attack on APC Chieftain, Abubakar Abu Giza and cautioned the youth in the state against thuggery.

Cletus Ogah stated this while reacting to the video showing a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC, Abubakar Abu Gija stripped naked, molested and humiliated by youth suspected to be supporters of APC in Lafia the Nasarawa state capital.

It would be recalled that Abubakar Abu Giza was allegedly stripped naked, molested and humiliated by the youths suspected to be supporters of the ruling APC yesterday when the party held its mega rally in Nasarawa state,

The youths suspected to be supporters of the party allegedly descended on the chieftain of the party, at the Emir Palace in Lafia.

Gunmen Enforcing Five-Day Sit-At-Home Order Reportedly Kill Actor Osita Iheme’s Brother And A Policeman
Popular Nigerian actor Osita Iheme aka Pawpaw has reportedly lost his elder brother, Prince Iheme in an attack launched by some unknown gunmen enforcing the five-day sit-at-home order in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.

Naija News reports that eyewitnesses told Nation that Mbaitoli and its environs came under heavy attack Friday afternoon by gunmen who struck at different locations reportedly killing actor pawpaw’s brother and a policeman.

One of the sources revealed that “Prince Iheme was riding in the same vehicle with the commissioner for solid minerals, Martin Eke. Prince Iheme who is Pawpaw’s elder brother was killed on the spot. The commissioner who was sworn in two weeks ago was cut badly. He has just been rushed to a hospital. They were driving in a Ford vehicle. I pray he makes it.”

According to witnesses, the gunmen also macheted the state’s Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Martin Eke, and attacked the convoy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Mbaitoli/ Ikeduru Federal Constituency, Akarachi Amadi.
