2023: Tinubu Begs El-Rufai, Gets Immediate Response
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has appealed to the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai not to abandon the country after his tenure ends in 2023.
Speaking on Saturday in Kaduna, Tinubu stated that Nigeria needs thinkers and doers hence his appeal to El-Rufai not to pursue another educational degree immediately after his tenure ends.
The APC flagbearer said Nigeria and Nigerians need the creativity of a person like El-Rufai at a time like this.
“We need your creativity at this critical time,” he begged the Kaduna State Governor.
Immediately after the speech by the APC candidate, Governor El-Rufai walked to the podium and promised to stay behind to contribute his quota.
“I promise to stay even on a part-time basis,” he said.

2023: Former Labour Party Presidential Aspirant Seeks N500m Refund From Peter Obi
A former presidential aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party, Oluwadare Joseph, has accused Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Peter Obi, and the party’s leadership of refusing to refund him, or compensate him for expenses in procuring intent / Nomination forms, Contact / Mobilisations and Reviving the party nationally.
Joseph also accused the former Anambra State governor of the party of deliberately leaving him on the sidelines after he ceded his presidential ambition to Obi.
Also, he lamented that despite exhausting all avenues to be compensated for all his pre-campaign expenses, LP continues to thwart all genuine efforts for dialogue.
Speaking at a World Press conference also held in Abuja the leader of the Rescue Nigeria Movement, Sheikh Rufai Al-Siddiq, said members of the group were compelled to make public the sad experience their leader, Oluwadare Faduri Joseph, after ceding its presidential ambition to Peter Obi, was left in the sidelines after exhausting all avenues to be compensated for all his pre-campaign expenses.
