In the last 24hrs, Zambia recorded 153 new cases (out of 446 tests). No deaths were recorded. An additional 397 persons have recovered.

This brings the cumulative totals to 4,481 cases, with 139 deaths (38 classified as due to COVID-19) & 2,350 recoveries.

It is also in the news that Lusaka Province Minister, Bowman Lusambo had contracted the novel coronavirus and is currently admitted in the hospital.
